2026 summer collection: Focus

As many of you already know, pattern in my paintings reference the labor to achieve beauty standards. The pattern also address my belief that beauty is more about creating sameness, fulfilling a convention & removing the individual.

In this collection, pattern overlay’s the figures, objectifying the surface of the canvas as well as the bodies of the women. This collection highlights society’s attempt to reduce women as something to be consumed. By creating layers of pattern, the viewer struggles to see all of the elements at once, forcing them to choose between seeing the pattern or the figures.
